2015 Honda® CRF® 250R

Having a big brother like the CRF®450R brings a whole new meaning to the term hand-me-downs. Advanced technologies introduced and developed on the 450R are quickly passed down to the CRF®250R making it every bit as competitive as its larger sibling. For 2015, the CRF®250R gets brake upgrades with a larger front disc and a redesigned rear disk as well as some detailed changes to the fuel injection system. The big news is the introduction of two new technologies, all-new air forks designed specifically for the CRF®250R by Showa bring the benefits of improved mass centralization, superior adjustability and enhanced suspension action. To make sure the engine is as advanced as the chassis, the 2015 CRF®250R also gets the convenient mode selection button that allows riders to select from three different engine performance maps to suit track conditions. Add these upgrades to the already existing aluminum frame, Unicam engine and stubby twin-muffler designs and together these innovative technologies make the CRF®250R one of the most agile, balanced, flickable and easy to ride machines on the track today. Rivalry has never been stronger, as this machine is sure to be your competitive edge.

Engine/Drivetrain

Unique 4-valve, Unicam design has very compact dimensions allowing it to be ideally placed for excellent mass centralization. When combined with the advanced twin spar aluminum chassis the CRF®250R offers its rider effortless direction changes on the ground or in the air.

The "stubby", twin-muffler design with its excellent mass centralization and left to right balance is retained. Redesigned muffler internals boost torque and increase throttle response when cornering, off the start line and at peak power.

Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) has new settings to take full advantage of changes to the exhaust system.

Chassis/Suspension

Twin-spar aluminum chassis offers the benefit of a low centre-of-gravity with excellent feel and feedback. Designed to work in concert with the all-new air-fork and the Honda Progressive Steering Damper the chassis combines excellent stability with right now turning precision.

The Honda Progressive Steering Damper allows very precise steering in the widely varied conditions found in motocross. On the gas or on the brakes the rider will enjoy superior steering in ruts, whoops, stutter bumps or whatever the track throws their way.

New Dunlop MX52 tires offer excellent traction in a wide variety of conditions.

Additional Features

Optimized rider ergonomics with a very narrow mid section allow the rider to move freely around the motorcycle and fully utilize the CRF’s® incredible agility.

Quick-adjust clutch perch simplifies cable adjustment.

Aluminum handlebar is rubber-mounted to reduce rider fatigue and improve comfort.
